A full-service RUBiS Gas Station officially opened along the west bound Portmore Highway
on August 7, 2025. This development is a continuation of TransJam Highways’ response to
the needs and preferences of its commuters, who requested a convenient rest stop along
the highway, where they could refuel, grab snacks and attend to other needs without having
to deviate from their route. In addition to the existing Total Service Station within the
corridor of the Old Harbour interchange on T1, TransJam Highways, partnered with RUBiS
to provide a similar convenience along the Westbound corridor of T2.

The newly opened RUBiS Gas Station is designed to offer a seamless experience for
commuters traveling into Portmore. In addition to fueling services, customers can now stop
to purchase groceries and other essential items. The station’s design and amenities are
tailored to cater to the needs of highway commuters, ensuring that they have a top-notch
experience.
